Naina Charcoal Yarn Naina charcoal yarn is produced by kilning bamboo charcoal under very high temperature (1,2000C), then adding a special anion powder to the materials and proceeding with the second run of kilning. Bamboo charcoal processed under such condition can release anion in addition to emitting far infrared ray, absorbing moisture and deodorizing. Such bamboo charcoal is then pulverized into nano-scale powder and added to the materials during the spinning process. Such bamboo charcoal is the highest quality charcoal; it contains 6 times as many micro pores as wood charcoal. If we use an electron microscope to magnify it 500 times then observe it, or test its absorbability under constant temperature, we will find that total surface area of the pores in one gram of such bamboo charcoal can reach 250m2~300m2 (almost as large as a tennis court). Therefore, such bamboo charcoal possesses super powerful absorbability. It can absorb moisture, deodorize and adsorb toxic chemical substances.
